Theory and practice in web-based computer games production
Abstract: This case study details the teaching of a module on web based computer games. The emphasis is upon developing in students a theoretical and practical appreciation of certain elements in the production of web based games. Attention is focused upon two key theoretical areas: narrative and ludology and how these can be addressed in production work. The course has been taught for a number of years successfully and is constantly developing.
