OER3 PG Certificate Development Projects
Deadline for proposals: 9 January 2012
In association with JISC, the Higher Education Academy invites the submission of proposals for projects to develop Post Graduate Certificate programmes for new staff so that it becomes culturally acceptable for them to develop, use and repurpose Open Educational Resources in their evolving teaching practice. Funding has been provided by the Higher Education Funding Council for England to enable them to offer grants of up to £20,000 per project.

SEDA Research and Evaluation Small Grants 2012
Deadline for proposals: 13 January 2012
SEDA’s Research and Evaluation Small Grants are intended to support evaluation or research (including action research) into educational development practice. Projects should either lead directly to improvements in educational development practice or increase our understanding of educational development in higher education.
£500 is available for individual projects and up to £1000 for proposals with one or more partners from other institutions

Second round of JISC Transformations Call
The objective of the Transformations Programme is to help institutions move towards organisational change through the application of existing JISC and other resources. £1 million is available for this Programme in the 2011/12 Academic Year to fund projects at £15,000 each; there are 2 opportunities to submit bids:
- 22 February 2012 – to start 30 April 2012
- 16 April 2012 – to start 11 June 2012
