Networks 13 now published online
Exploring relationships between technology and teaching and learning in art, design and media higher education.
We are very pleased to announce the launch of our thirteenth and first online issue of Networks magazine.
Up until now Networks has been a predominantly hard-copy publication distributed free of charge to those who have signed up for it and who work in art, design and media higher education. We hope that Networks online will reach a broader audience and that, with continued contributions and enthusiasm from the sector, it can be maintained into the future.

Student Competition 2011 – please vote, closes on 11 May
This has been the most prolific year for submissions to our annual competition and we are delighted to display all 57 entries online. This year we asked students to submit an image (visual / audio / film / etc) accompanied by a short statement that reflects their perceptions and experiences of higher education
We welcome input from you to find the winner and runner up. Voting will close on Wednesday, 11 May at 11am.
The winner and runner up will be announced on Friday, 13 May.

Call for Contributions to Networks issue 14 - reminder
Deadline for submissions: 1 June 2011
Networks issue 14, to be published online in July, will reflect the theme of our Annual Forum, Shaping Things to Come, and explore the following:
What does and what should the future hold for art, design and media higher education teaching and learning? How can those teaching and supporting learning in art, design and media higher education contribute to this future?
- What pedagogic practices do we need to preserve?
- What practices should we nurture and develop?
- What can we afford to ditch?
We welcome proposals for features articles, for this and subsequent issues. A fee of £300 is payable to authors of those features accepted for publication.
