Art Design and Media Student Award 2012 - please remind your students about this competition
Reflect:on learning experiences in art, design and media
Closing date for submissions: 3 February 2012
This year we are asking students to focus on their experiences of
learning in art, design and media and submit an image or piece of
multimedia (visual / audio / film / etc), accompanied by a short
statement, that reflects the epiphanies, inspirations, enablers and
opportunities that are part of the experience of higher education. The
winning entry will be eligible for the prize of £300 and the runner up
£100.

SECTOR ANNOUNCEMENTS
National Teaching Fellowship Scheme (NTFS) Individual Awards 2012
Up to 55 awards of £10,000 are made to recognise individual excellence.
The award is intended for Fellows' professional development in teaching
and learning or aspects of pedagogy. Nominations are invited from
eligible institutions in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland The NTFS
2012 nomination documents and guidance can be downloaded from the HEA
website. The deadline for the submission of nomination documents is 12
noon on Wednesday 21 March 2012.
