Leading Curriculum Change for Sustainability
The University of Gloucestershire has recently been awarded £200,000
from the Higher Education Funding Council for England, to develop an
innovative strategic project in the field of Education for Sustainable
Development (ESD), in collaboration with four other UK universities.

ADM-HEA COLLABORATIVE EVENTS
Creative Learning and Teaching Seminar
National Glass Centre, Liberty Way, Sunderland, SR6 0GL
25 November - 26 November 2010
This seminar, hosted by the University of Sunderland, aims to provide a
forum for all those interested in creative art design and media
education to come together and explore the issues and challenges faced
by students, practitioners and educators.
The Keynote speakers will be: Steve Besley, Head of Policy at
Pearson (formerly Edexcel), Professor David Vaughan, Higher Education
Advisor/Developer and Professor Kevin Petrie, Professor of Glass and
Ceramics, University of Sunderland. We have some very interesting
speakers confirmed and the programme will be available next week (sorry
for the delay!)
The University of Sunderland is a centre of excellence in glass,
architectural glass and ceramics and this two-day symposium will be held
at the renowned National Glass Centre. There will be a unique
opportunity to explore the glass studios, watch demonstrations in the
techniques used in glass making. Additionally the Glass Centre hope to
offer taster workshops in glass blowing and etching on the evening of 25
November.

The Higher Education Academy is pleased to invite UK Higher Education
Institutions, and Further Education Colleges delivering Higher

Feedback. Funding has been provided to enable the HEA to offer a grant
