ADM-HEA ANNOUNCEMENTS
ADM-HEA announces new learning and teaching projects for 2011-12
Following our recent call for project proposals, we were pleased to
receive 62 project proposals by the end of January 2010. All were
externally peer-reviewed and we are glad to announce that five were
selected for funding. There were three broad themes for
applications this year:
- Better teaching
- Flexibility of learning

Graduates with impact
Project applicants were asked to consider ways in which the art, design
and media disciplines might respond to these priorities at a
disciplinary, departmental, institutional and regional level to
implement positive change based on principles that are applicable
across the art, design and media HE sector.

Values in Higher Education
The CPD4HE project is developing resources to support the professional
development of those who teach in HE. They have released their first
resources, on 'Values in Higher Education' and are hoping for feedback.

Digital Reflection: Using digital technologies to enhance and embed creative processes

This collaborative event, supported by PALATINE and the Art Design Media
Subject Centre (ADM-HEA), will look at ways in which digital
technologies are being used within teaching and learning practice to
help students engage in creative forms of reflection upon
practice.
