Journal of Pedagogic Development
The Journal of Pedagogic Development Issue 2: call for abstracts, deadline: 12 September 2011
The Journal of Pedagogic Development was launched at the University of Bedfordshire conference in July 2011. (For an electronic copy see http://www.beds.ac.uk/learning/jpd .)
Do you have an idea for a short paper to disseminate your research or good practice? Have you presented on teaching, learning or assessment at a conference but have had nothing published from it? Would you like some supportive and constructive feedback on your academic writing? Then why not submit your work for publishing in the University of Bedfordshire’s Journal?
The University is keen to promote pedagogic research and provides support for academics in researching their practice and publishing papers. You may be thinking of expanding an abstract or short paper for journal publication, be involved in innovative teaching activities, or considering a potential area for pedagogic research. To support you, the Centre for Learning Excellence is inviting you to submit your work for publishing in the JPD. Copy could be informal ‘soapbox’ pieces, abstracts, cartoons, book reviews or short papers (2000-3000 words) on your research and/or practice e.g. case studies or action research projects.
The Journal of Pedagogic Development has an ISSN for referencing purposes.
