Productive Relationships: Creative and Cultural Industries and Higher Education in Wales
CALL FOR PAPERS
Colleagues are invited to submit 250-500 word proposals for case
studies for the Productive Relationships project which aims to
articulate and discuss how HEIs across Wales, in particular their art, design
and media programmes, engage with cultural and creative industries. The project,
supported by the Higher Education Academy Art, Design, Media Subject Centre
(ADM-HEA) and HEA Wales, will deliver the first major report on this issue, to
be published in Autumn 2009.
Case Study
Proposals
Case studies should focus on the intersections between factors
driving the development of creative and cultural industries and the ADM HE
sector in Wales to consider forms of engagement with employers, creative and
cultural industry practitioners and other agencies. This will identify potential
for enhancement of engagement in key areas such as: curriculum enhancement;
knowledge transfer; continuing professional development and work-force
development; entrepreneurship, social and community enterprise; Welsh language;
ethical and sustainable development; enhancing diversity and
inclusion.
How to Submit a Proposal
Please submit a 250-500
word proposal for a case study either in the body of an email, or as a Word
document, to Jo Walter by Monday 16th March 2009
