Contribute to Networks 16 and 17
Networks 16
Deadline for contributions: Thursday, 1 December 2011
In this competitive environment how do we maintain and develop the interconnections between departments, institutions, disciplines and nations that give strength, richness and diversity to art, design and media higher education? For Networks 16, to be published in January 2012, we invite feature articles that investigate interdisciplinary, international, and inter-institutional collaborations that enrich learning and teaching in our disciplines.
Networks 17
Deadline for contributions: Friday, 2 March 2012
Networks 17, to be published in April 2012, will focus on teaching and
learning practices in which students take centre stage. We invite
feature articles exploring student involvement in art, design and media
curriculum design, ‘delivery’ and assessment, as well as engagement
with departmental and institutional structures and processes. We
welcome content written by both students and staff or collaboratively.
We welcome proposals for features articles for these and subsequent issues. A fee of £300 is payable to authors of those features accepted for publication. For further information.
We are also interested in receiving news items, evaluative event reports, project reports and reviews.
Networks is written by colleagues involved in higher education teaching and learning in art, design and media subjects. Networks is an online publication distributed free of charge to those who have signed up for it and who work in the sector. Readers tell us that the news, features, projects and reviews impact on their teaching practice in positive ways. Many contributors use Networks to share their research with a broad audience where it can have genuine impact.
