Abstract
This programme of research sets out to investigate and develop a model for identifying how ‘two-way’ communications using an approach of ‘conceptual narrative’, can interpret new meaning and understanding between the sender and the receiver, within a specific situation of interest. To put the model into context will involve the creation of a website to ‘showcase’ the ‘conceptual narrative’ model and work on it (as a pedagogy tool) within the curriculum of art and design. To further develop research into conceptual narratives, the focus will be to communicate knowledge and understanding to research communities and communities of practice working in a shared field of interest. Thereby, through collaboration and networking to a wider audience, this approach will strengthen the theoretical and practical context in which my professional practice currently sits.
