Portfolio Advice Day

The portfolio advice day held at the Institute of Contemporary Arts
London on Wednesday 8 February 2006 was a highly successful initiative
to encourage more students from non-traditional backgrounds to apply to
study Art Design and Media courses in higher education.
Tutors
from a range of art and design colleges, including University of the
Arts London, University for the Creative Arts and the University of
Brighton, provided advice, insight and guidance to students from
schools and further education colleges.
The portfolio advice day was an Arts Aimhigher
London widening participation project, part of the Government's drive
to open up further and higher education to students from
non-traditional backgrounds.
