Morning break-out groups session
There will be six discussion groups with up to 20 participants in each. Each group will be allocated a ‘hot word’, identified by Professor Stephen Heppell, and based on participants’ prior contributions to the online discussion forum, Virtual SPACE. Groups will have access to Virtual SPACE during the discussion and delegates may wish to bring wireless enabled laptops.
The aim of the morning session is to discuss the ideas within the HOT topic. Each group will be assisted in this by:
- a CHAIR within their group to manage the debate.
- a REPORTER within their group to record the debate.
- a DIRECTOR who will be responsible for supervising and guiding the group in the afternoon session.
CHAIRs and REPORTERs are volunteers*, DIRECTORs are selected by the ADM-HEA.
* If you would like to be considered for the role of either Chair or Reporter, please indicate this when you register for a place at Vital SPACE.

some ideas and inspiration for videos
The Plenary
The videos will be screened in the WMC’s Victor Salvi Room and posted online. After the screenings the Plenary Chair will invite the panel (the Directors) to make a brief observation/comment on the videos. The Chair will open the discussion to the floor for about 30 minutes.
The Plenary debate will be recorded/videoed and be available on the SPACE Event web page.
Please be aware that videos will be made at the event and posted onto
YouTube and the ADM-HEA website. By registering for this event you will
be giving your permission for any recordings in which you appear to be
published.
