Collaborative Observation in the On-Line Environment for enhancement across Institutional Divides
Extending peer observation into online learning and teaching environments, offers participants significant added value through chances not only to discuss online experiences, but to engage in peer-assisted constructive focus on the online processes themselves within the context of implementation.
This seminar will report the findings of research into the
experience of projects run at Hull and Staffordshire and give participants a
flavour of peer observation online.
The main seminar will give participants the chance to:
-
Find out about online peer observation projects at Hull and Staffordshire showing that situated observation of online practice can enhance confidence, self-efficacy and skills
-
Share the processes and documentation developed
-
Explore the issues, opportunities and challenges encountered
The Optional Practical Session will offer the opportunity to
participate actively in Peer Observation Online.
The seminar also aims to initiate a network amongst
interested participants to share experience and build a body of experience and
evidence-informed practice as a resource for the sector
